Ingredients
- 32 oz. fresh cranberries, rinsed
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested
- 2 oranges, juiced and zested
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 cup maple syrup or agave
- 1/4 cup pure pomegranate juice
- 3 tablespoons Bowery Basil, chopped
Recipe Preparation
- In a non-reactive large saucepan, combine all ingredients except the basil.
- Simmer over medium heat, stirring often, until cranberries begin to pop – about 10 minutes.
- Continue to cook over low heat, another 15 minutes.
- Stir in the chopped Bowery Basil.
- Using a fork, smash half of the cranberries and mix or just leave whole.
- Season with salt and more lemon juice.
