Let’s Get Wild: Restoring Our Natural Ecosystems

This Earth Month, Bowery is shining a light on the rewilding movement

This Earth Month, Bowery is shining a light on the rewilding movement. We’re teaming up with The Nature Conservancy to spread the word about conservation and what is possible when by growing inside, we can restore outside. Rewild the Land

Bowery is supporting restoration efforts in the U.S. through The Nature Conservancy’s Plant a Billion Trees Initiative. We’re pledging to restore 50 acres, in partnership with TNC, to address biodiversity and spotlight the rewilding movement, which returns retired farmland and other degraded land to Mother Nature.

The pledge will support two places: the Mississippi Alluvial Valley and Longleaf Pine Forests, both impacted by development, timbering, and conversion to agriculture. The forests are also home to 29 threatened and endangered species.

To celebrate our collaboration, all month long our packs will feature six species benefiting from TNC’s work in the field.

Save the Date!

If you’re local to NYC, join us 4/21 at Earth Day Initiative’s 2022 Festival. All day long we’ll be sampling greens, distributing swag, and sharing more about rewilding efforts.
